Tom Edmondson, MD, CMD, AGSF, FACP, is a native Texan who graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and he completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital followed by completion of an NIH-sponsored fellowship in geriatric medicine and gerontology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He is boarded in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine, and he is a Certified Medical Director. Dr. Edmondson is President of MMDA—The Mid-Atlantic Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, Immediate Past President of ABPLM, and a member of AMDA’s Clinical Practice and Quality Measures Committees. Dr. Edmondson designs and implements clinical programs at health care organizations leveraging ambulatory telehealth solutions in patient care.
