Cynthia Works, MD, CMD, is a Board Certified Family Practitioner, with an emphasis in Geriatrics and has Certificate of Added Qualification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her focus is on optimizing quality of life through appropriate treatment of multiple geriatric syndromes, safe transitions from one setting to another, and coordination of end-of-life care in Wyoming which is a rural and medically underserved state with little geriatric expertise. She is a Faculty Member of the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency Program at Casper, Wyoming and coordinates the geriatric curriculum for family medicine residents training to work in rural settings. Dr. Works also serves as a physician provider for nursing home patients and as Medical Director for a local nursing home.
