Barbara Resnick, PhD, CRNP

Barbara Resnick, PhD, CRNP, is a Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the Sonya Ziporkin Gershowitz Chair in Gerontology. In addition to teaching advanced practice nurses and engaging research activities, Dr. Resnick co-directs the Center for Biology and Behavior Across the Lifespan and practices as an advanced practice nurse in a continuing care retirement community. She is the editor of the journal, Geriatric Nursing and an associate editor for the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association, the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society and The Gerontologist.
